Paragliding in Nepal

Paragliding in Pokhara offers convenient take off and landing area, safety and magnificent view of city, mountains and Fewa Lakethe flight takes off from 3o minutes jeep drive from Sarankot Hill and lades by the lakeside of Fewa Lake.

There are two types of paragliding: Tandem paragliding and flying it on your own, Tandem Paragliding will have pilot and you harnessed separately in front of the pilot. Whereas flying on your own requires flying permit permission from civil aviation Pokhara.

Since it is undoubtedly an adventures sport there is some degree of risk involved. One must be very alert while taking off the flight and lading. Also must be aware of change in wind. Paragliding is safe when done in stable thermals, Apart from that; the pilots are however certified by international paragliding schools and requires two years experience to conduct Tandem paragliding.
