EBC & Kalapathar Trek

Highlights of EBC - Kalapathar Trek

EBC Kalapathar Trek is a 13 day trek and is categorized in a difficult one. Like all other treks in this region this one also starts from the same common point. The highest point of the trek is Kalapather (5545m) where oxygen level drops to 50 percent of what you normally feel in sea level so breathing at such a high altitude will be little bit uneasy for you. You can see the panorama of Mt.Everest, Mt.Lhotse, Mt.Pumori, Mt. Amadablam and many more. Sadly you will also see the bowl shaped EBC (Everest Base Camp) where so many people died because of the tragic event that took place on 25 April 2015.
