The trails goes around Manaslu the eighth tallest mountain in the world and have to go through the famous Larke La pass (5215) the highest point of the trek. Manaslu Circuit Trek is famous trekking trail around the Manaslu region. This trekking is a blend of adventure as well as an exploration of surpassing beauties of the nature. This trekking gets its name from the Manaslu peak, “Mountain of the Spirit” which uprises to height of 8,156m.Opened for visitors in the year1991, the trail of Manaslu trekking starts from the foothills of Gorkha district. Walking through the banks of the BudhiGandakiriver, the trail continues up to Larkya La – the highest point of the trek, 5213 m. Larkya La is originally named as the Lhargyal La which means victory hill. It is a well-loved trek passing through huge precipitous valleys to the contrasting world of Sama, crossing the snow-covered Larkya La Pass, and descending to MarsyangdiKhola. For this trek you must have good health and extra days for strolling about the Glacial Lake and PungenGlacier.The trekking provides the ultimate scenery of the ten highest peaks over 6500m. Manaslu region is the sanctuary for the endangered species of snow leopard and pandas, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan Goral. 19 types of forests, rhododendron and Himalayan blue pine are abundantly found in this region. Starting from the Arughat the trek ends at the Besisahar, the starting point of Annapurna Circuit Trek. The typical tea house trekking passes through the villages dominated by the Gurungs, Bhutias and Sherpas people. The wonderful experience with the invincible path of the Manaslu trekking crossing the 6 climatic zones (tropical to alpine). Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu

Our staff will meet you at the airport and drop you off to a hotel in Kathmandu. Your guide will visit you and brief you about your upcoming trek

Day 02 Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (710m)

After an early breakfast your guide along with the rest of the crew member will pick you up from a hotel and will head straight towards Soti Khola going through Dhading besi. It will be about 8 -9 hours of drive from Kathmandu to reach Soti khola. After reaching Soti khola your guide will arrange you a lodge to spend the night.

Day 03 Soti khola to Machha khola (900m)

The first day of the trek will be relatively easier as you will continue upstream along the shore of Budi Gandaki river. It is 5-6 hours of trek for the first day. Overnnight at lodge.

Day 04 Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m)

After your breakfast you will first cross Machha river and go through Khorlabesi to reach Tatoapni where there is a natural hot water available. The trail goes alongside the Budhi Gandaki river all the way to Jagat. Overnight at lodge.

Day 05 Jagat to Philim (1700m)

Today’s trail will also continue alongside the shore of Budi Gandaki river. Slowly and gradually you will be gaining the altitude. You will reach Philim within 5-6 hours of trek going through the village of Sirdabas.

Day 06 Philim to Deng (2095m)

Today you will have an opportunity to see some fascinating view of waterfalls on either side of the trail. You will cross multiple suspension bridge and go through the village of Eklebhatti to reach Deng where you will be spending the night.

Day 07 Deng to Namrung (2900m)

The first part of today’s trek will be descending and crossing the river via suspension bridge. While going through the trails you will come across chyorten and monasteries with prayer flags fluttering. It will take you 6-7 hours to reach Namrung where you will be spending the night.

Day 08 namrung to Samagoan (3500m)

Today you will pass the village of Lho and will be accompanied by the astounding view of peak 29 for quite some time. You will take a side trip to Pungen monastery the oldest of this region and head straight to Samagoan to spend the night.

Day 09 Acclimatization day at Samagoan.

The most important part of the trek before doing the famous larke la pass. Spending at least 24 hours at this altitude will help you to cope better with hazardous effects of high altitude.

Day 10 Samagoan to Samdo (3690m)

As you walk along the trails you will see gradually the forest disappearing with one hell of view of Manaslu. The trail is easier and flat for most part of 3-4 hours walk.

Day 11 Samdo to Dharamsala (4450m)

You will get off early after crossing some steams you will reach larkya Bazar the trading point of this region. Just about 3-4 hours fo walk you will reach Dharamsala where you will spending the night.

Day 12 Dharamsala to Bhimthang(3590) via larke la(5215m)

Today is perhaps the most important day of your trek as you will be doing Larke la(5215M) the highest point of your trek. You will start very early probably at 4’o clock in the morning. The first part of the trail will be flat and less moderately steep. The view you will see today is breathtaking. HImlung himal, Cheo himal and Annapurna II are the mountains you will be seeing.
